Many of us find ourselves going through life, living without a definite purpose or following some other path, and not embracing the unique purpose that one's been endowed with. That will leave one unfulfilled, dissatisfied, or frustrated at some point in life. 

Being honest with oneself is essential to discovering one's true essence. Indwelling gifts, given to one at the core of their being, empower and support life purpose. These gifts have always been there. You may have sensed their presence at times. If not, that does not mean they are not there. They are!  In reality, these gifts are given to us not to serve ourselves, but so that we may serve others. And that may be why they remain dormant or untapped in so many people. Because serving others requires the preference of others over ourselves, and that doesn't come naturally often. 

So, the question is, why are we here? The gifts will always be within you and will never leave you, nor will they die. But they may be unrecognized, ignored, wasted, or even be known to the one possessing the gift—yet go unused. Consequently, never producing the ease, the help, the aid, the comfort, the welfare, the advantage, and countless other values, benefits and services that reside within the gifts planted inside you!

The gifts don't operate without their master. They don't take on a life of their own in order to render their services to humanity. Your gifts require you, the possessor and master, to recognize, to receive, to nurture, to exercise, to share, and ultimately offer their services to the world. Only you can share your gifts. No one can do it for you. 

Do you have a desire, wish, need or impulse to contribute something to the world, but you just can't seem to put your finger on what it is?
